POINTS TO REMEMBER IF USING THE PROGRESSION PYRAMIDS:

• Both the pyramid boxes and the statement in the Records of Understanding are not linear but learning contained within the blue boxes will be necessary to allow access to the purple and green boxes. You do not start at the bottom and simply work your way through. REMEMBER: LEARNING IS MESSY and does not follow a straight path – that does not happen here either. Also, the colours do not equate to a particular year group.
• The boxes which are shadowed and in bold show statements relating to the National Benchmarks.
• The ultimate aim is displayed at the top of the page.
• The Records of Understanding (RUs) can either be completed electronically or printed off.
