In this version, Crocker-Harris is described as “Hitler of the Lower Fifth”, in contrast to 1951’s “Himmler of the Lower Fifth”.
Harwood’s version is much less subtle than Rattigan’s, and tediously overplays the divorce angle in advance of Crocker-Harris’s revelation that he knew already.
